József Somogyi: Fishermen

Somogyi, Joseph (1916-1993) and the Kossuth Prize Munkácsy sculptor, art teacher started majoring in fine arts in college, and when he went quarterly sculpture department. He loved the figural works, most of these works (Warrior, cellist, digger, Girls beads). Our area most profession representatives of the fishermen is formatted. The two-meter high statue of the fishermen in their hands two feet of the essential tools of trade, the paddle blade and the net is considered. The statue was erected in 1971 in the Great Beach Hotel and the area between the lake and then in 1998 moved to the Rose Garden.
